Haitian Born, American Made is a brand born from a personal journey. Founder Sam St. Victor experienced the immigrant experience firsthand, leaving Haiti for the United States at a young age. Growing up in America shaped his worldview, instilling values of Loyalty, team work, responsibilities, opportunity, hard work, community. However, life took an unexpected turn, leading him back to Haiti as an adult. This return presented a unique challenge: navigating the complexities of Haitian life with an American perspective. This experience of bridging two cultures,of blending the lessons learned in both Haiti and the US is the heart of Haitian Born, American Made. Our apparel reflects this duality, combining Haitian inspiration with American design and quality. Each design reflects the strength, resourcefulness, and cultural richness that comes from embracing both Haitian and American identities.
